This Web Page aims to present a range of statistics relating to Queen Victoria's descendants and follows from a posting to alt.talk.royalty Newsgroup.

The descendants of Queen Victoria in the list below are listed in male order descent with the exception of the family of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip of Greece which are shown under Queen Elizabeth.

I am totally confident that no individual is counted more than once in the tally of descendants even if they have several links to Queen Victoria.

I am indebted to Daniel A Willis's excellent book on The Descendants of "King George I" of Great Britain which I found useful to fill in missing gaps in the information used in the compilation of these statistics.

Thanks are also due to a number of personal correspondents who have taken the time to supply me with their own data on Queen Victoria's descendants.

Note 1

Prince Alastair of Great Britain (2nd Duke of Connaught) is a G Grandchild of Queen Victoria via his father as well being a GG Grandchild via his mother. Prince Alastair is counted in the G Grandchildren figures in the "No of Descendants" list above rather than in the GG Grandchildren figures.

Note 2

Princess Maria Tatiana of Yugoslavia is a GGG Grandchild of Queen Victoria via her father as well being a GGGG Grandchild via her mother (in fact two lines through her maternal grandparents). Princess Maria Tatiana is counted in the GGG Grandchildren figures in the "No of Descendants" list above rather than in the GGGG Grandchildren figures.

I am open to suggestions for production of any other statistics.
